Payment Dates for RM1200 Additional STR Assistance

The additional STR assistance payments to recipients are made monthly in installments over a period of 12 months. The payments for Phase 3 will be made on August 1, 2024, and September 1, 2024, for recipients in Peninsular Malaysia. For recipients in Sabah and Sarawak, payments will start on August 12, 2024.

Amount of Additional STR Assistance

Each recipient from Peninsular Malaysia will receive a monthly payment of RM100, totaling RM800 for Phase 3. Meanwhile, recipients in Sabah and Sarawak will receive two installments of RM600 each, totaling RM1,200.

Payment Methods for RM1200 Additional STR

The payment methods for the additional STR assistance for Phase 3 vary by region as follows:

Recipients in Peninsular Malaysia

Payments will be made cashless, credited to the recipient’s MyKad account every month at RM100 per month for 12 months, totaling RM1,200.

Recipients in Sabah & Sarawak

Payments will be made in cash, credited to the recipient’s bank account in two installments of RM600 each, totaling RM1,200.

Eligibility Criteria for Additional STR RM1200 Assistance

Only qualified recipients will receive the additional assistance of RM1,200. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. Malaysian citizens;
2. Approved for the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) category for households and senior citizens;
3. Income below the poverty line;
4. Registered and listed under the e-Kasih data as Poor / Hardcore Poor recipients.

How to Check Your Name for Additional STR RM1200 

Follow the steps below to check your name for the additional STR RM1200 assistance for Phase 3:

1. Visit the official MySTR LHDNM website.
2. Enter your identification card number in the [MyKad Number] field.
3. Click the [Log In] button.
4. Click [Check].
5. Select [Yes] if the security phrase displayed is correct.
6. Enter the correct password.
7. Click the [Log In] button.
8. Navigate to the [Application Status] section.
9. The status of the additional payment for Phase 3 will be displayed.
10. Done.
