APPRENTICE TRAINING ASSISTANCE – BLP
What is the Apprentice Training Assistance Program (BLP)?
The Apprentice Training Assistance Program (BLP) introduced this year under Budget 2024, aims to reduce the burden on Malaysians in need. This program is specifically designed to provide financial support of RM200 per month to eligible individuals throughout Malaysia.
Categories of Recipients
This special assistance is for:
- Children of Social Welfare Department (JKM) clients
- JKM aid recipients
- Those who are unemployed
- Former trainees or former residents of welfare institutions
- Those under community service orders
- Ethical supervision cases
Program Objectives
This program aims to:
- Help them acquire skills through on-the-job training
- Increase employment potential
- Address unemployment issues among the population
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligible candidates to receive this assistance must be:
- Malaysian citizens
- Directly involved as recipients of aid from any welfare institution or have participated in recognized character and community-building programs
How to Apply
Applications for this assistance can be made throughout the year. To apply:
- Visit the official BLP 2024 aid portal.
- Complete the application form and attach the required documents:
- Photocopy of identification card
- Other relevant supporting documents
APPLICATION EVALUATION PROCESS
Each application will be carefully evaluated to ensure only those truly eligible receive assistance, in accordance with the principles of providing aid based on need and eligibility.
HOW TO CHECK APPLICATION STATUS
To check the status of assistance through eBantuan JKM, follow these steps:
- Visit the eBantuan JKM website.
- Click on the “Check Application Status” button.
- Enter the applicant’s identification number.
- Click the “Check” button.
- The application status will be displayed, including information related to the applied or approved assistance by JKM.

Additional Assistance
