Pahang Scholarship 2025 : The State Government of Pahang, through the Pahang Foundation (Yayasan Pahang), is now opening new applications for the Pahang Scholarship (Primary School) for Year 3 students of the 2024 academic session in National Schools, Chinese National-Type Schools, and Tamil National-Type Schools within the state of Pahang for the Year 4 academic session of 2025.

What is the Pahang Scholarship 2025 – Primary School ?
The Pahang Scholarship (Primary School), formerly known as the Primary School Scholarship (BSR), was introduced in 2002. This scholarship is offered to students from Year 4 to Year 6 who are currently studying in national primary schools, national-type primary schools, and government-aided religious schools throughout the state of Pahang Darul Makmur.
Initially, the scholarship targeted children from low-income families with a household income below RM700 per month. Nowadays, the target group has been expanded to families with incomes below RM2,500 per month.
Since 2012, the scholarship amount for the Pahang Scholarship (Primary School) has been increased from RM250 per year to RM300 per year for students from Year 4 to Year 6. Starting in 2022, it has been rebranded and is now known as the Pahang Scholarship (Primary School).
Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship
- Applicants and their parents or guardians must be Malaysian citizens.
Origin
- The applicant or either of their parents/guardians must be born in the State of Pahang Darul Makmur.
- Applicants and their parents born outside Pahang or parents who are not Malaysian citizens are NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
Financial Background
- Applicants should have multiple siblings still in school and not receiving other financial aid. Priority is given to orphans or those from less fortunate backgrounds.
Household Income
- The household gross income (basic salary and fixed allowances) will be evaluated based on the current year’s selection criteria.
School Level
- Applicants must be studying in Year 3 in the current year at National Schools, Chinese National-Type Schools, Tamil National-Type Schools, or Government-Aided Religious Schools (SABK) within the State of Pahang Darul Makmur.
Disciplinary Record
- Students who have been suspended or expelled from school are not eligible to apply.

Applications can be submitted through the SCHOOL or through the STATE ASSEMBLYMAN/Representative appointed by the Pahang Foundation only.
