In an effort to bolster financial resilience among Malaysians within the B40 income category (the bottom 40% of earners), the government has introduced an assistance scheme which will be credited via an eWallet application. This initiative simplifies access and usage of the assistance for daily necessities.

What is the B40 eWallet Assistance 2024?

The B40 eWallet assistance is a financial aid program designed for Malaysians within the B40 category, i.e., the low-income group. This assistance is distributed monthly over a period of one year (12 months) and can be utilized by recipients to purchase essential goods.

Breakdown of the B40 eWallet Assistance: RM350 in 2024

The distribution of financial aid is divided into two components:

  1. eWallet Assistance (BINGKAS): RM300, credited via an eWallet application.
  2. Additional Cash Assistance (SARA): RM50, credited through the MyKad system.

Dates for Receiving eWallet Assistance

  • BINGKAS Assistance: Received monthly based on the approval date of the application.
  • SARA Assistance: Received on the first day of each month, from January to December 2024.

BINGKAS Assistance Status (RM300):

  2. On the homepage, select ‘Check Application Status’.
  3. Enter your phone number (without dashes) and the password you registered.
  4. Click ‘Log In’ and then ‘Check Status’.
  5. Your application status will be displayed.

SARA Assistance Status (RM50):

  1. Click this MyKasih Portal Link.
  2. Enter your Identity Card Number without dashes and fill in the Captcha code correctly.
  3. Click ‘Check Status’.
  4. Your application status will be displayed.
