About the Skim Pendaftaran Perniagaan Prihatin (SPPP)
This initiative by the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) offers free business registration to entrepreneurs from the B40 group and full-time IPT students. Eligible applicants under the scheme will receive fee exemptions as follows:

| 2 | Sole proprietorship or partnership using a trade name | RM60 |
| 3 | Printing of information | RM10 |
Eligibility for Free SSM Registration under SPPP
- B40 Entrepreneur Category: Must hold a MyKad/MyPR, be 18 years or older as per business registration standards, not currently have any active business entity registered with SSM, and be listed in the BPN 2.0 database for the B40 group. Check your status here.
- IPT Student Category: Must hold a MyKad/MyPR, be a citizen aged 18 or over, studying full-time at public or private higher education institutions, polytechnics, colleges, skills institutes, or skills centers in the country, and not have any active business entity registered with SSM.
How to Register:
Eligible individuals can apply online through the EzBiz Portal at ezbiz.ssm.com.my. Here are the steps:
- Visit EzBiz’s registration link for first-time user registration.
- Activate your EzBiz ID: log in > user profile > user verification request > add new.
- Attach required documents.
When registering a business, you have two options for the business name:
- Use your personal name as stated on your ID (example: ALI BIN ABU) — Registration Fee RM30, Print Information RM10.
- Use a trade name for your business (example: ALI MAJU BOUTIQUE) — Registration Fee RM60, Print Information RM10.
Required Information and Documents:
- Fill out the New Business Registration Form (Form A) with details such as business name, start date, main business address, branch address (if any), owner and partnership details, and business type.
- Attach a copy of the partnership agreement if applicable.
